August 2024

As we welcome August, I’m back from a rejuvenating vacation and filled with renewed energy and inspiration. While I am back, I am still prioritizing time away from my computer to continue fostering a balanced and healthy approach to work. This time away has provided me with fresh perspectives and exciting ideas on how we can continue to create a more inclusive world.

In July, my family and I embraced the beauty of the Canadian summer with an adventure through the Maritime provinces of Nova Scotia, PEI, and New Brunswick, a part of the country we had never visited. We enjoyed the joy of standing by a lighthouse with the Atlantic breeze on our face, exploring historic towns with rich maritime heritage, and wandering through serene national parks with their lush forests and tranquil lakes. The picturesque coastlines, charming villages, and awe-inspiring natural beauty of the Maritimes provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation and rejuvenation. One of the highlights of our trip was the Fireworks Feast at the Inn at Bay Fortune. This experience was special and inspirational, focusing on diversity in action, sustainable farming, and unique culinary excellence. You can read more about this extraordinary experience below.

While I was away, I had the opportunity to reflect on the importance of wellness and balance in our lives. This reflection has only strengthened my commitment to challenge the notion that we need to be constantly busy and working. By prioritizing rest and rejuvenation, I aim to foster a new way of work—one that values balance, well-being, and sustainable productivity.

In the spirit of inclusivity and continuous improvement, I am exploring innovative ways to create a more inclusive world. Whether through developing new strategies, collaborating on impactful projects, or simply fostering open and meaningful conversations, there are endless opportunities to make a difference. I am excited to share these ideas and initiatives with you in the coming months.

For now, I will continue to balance my time between work and personal rejuvenation. Your understanding of this approach is deeply appreciated, as it allows for personal growth that will ultimately enhance my consulting practice. In closing, as we embrace the themes of wellness this August, let's continue to reflect on the moments that matter, celebrate wellness, and strive for a healthier, more balanced, and inclusive world together. Thank you for your continued support and engagement. Let's make August a month of reflection, action, and progress.

With gratitude,
