My 2021 Top 10 List

A simple note to thank you for the equity, diversity, and inclusion conversations I've been able to have since I launched Erin Davis Co. a few short months ago. While it has honestly felt like a wild ride, I wouldn’t change a thing. I have found a space where I can be my authentic self -- creating a more inclusive world, one conversation at a time. I sincerely thank you for joining me on this wild ride.

I’m sharing my Top 10 diversity and inclusion inspired shows, in case you are looking for something new to watch over the holidays (and if you have a favourite that I didn’t list, please share!).

The Laverne Cox Show

Years ago, a therapist said in our very first session that there are only two things that we can truly control in our lives - our own perception and our own behavior. That's it. Nothing more than that. Each week, The Laverne Cox Show will feature intimate conversations with folks who help me to see and think differently so that maybe I can act differently. It is my hope that this becomes a place that fosters perspectives that might inspire new behavior in each of us, which in turn gets us closer to becoming the very best versions of ourselves. Let's have a spiritual makeover together.

As we all look to the year ahead, I will once again share my favourite quote as my guiding light – may we always be in search of solutions that fit all of humanity.

We will not go back to normal. Normal never was. Our pre-corona existence was not normal other than we normalized greed, inequity, exhaustion, depletion, extraction, disconnection, confusion, rage, hoarding, hate and lack. We should not long to return, my friends. We are being given the opportunity to stitch a new garment. One that fits all of humanity and nature.

- Sonya Renee Taylor, Author, Poet, Spoken Word Artist, Speaker, Humanitarian and Social Justice Activist

Have the most wonderful time with those that you love. I can’t wait for more conversations in 2022.
