March 2024 - Inspire Inclusion

As I write to you this month, the snow gently blankets the mountains here in Kananaskis and Beyoncé's newly released country tunes fill the air. I find myself enveloped in my favorite time of the year—International Women’s Day on March 8th – a period marked by profound celebration and contemplation for myself. This season, and all seasons, we have the opportunity to honor the remarkable contributions of women around the globe. I am both uplifted and reminded of the journey ahead as I think of all the amazing women in my life and the ones I don’t yet know. The joy of celebration is intertwined with a call to reflection, underscoring the vast expanse of work that remains in our journey for equality and inclusion.

This duality of celebration and reflection is particularly poignant as I prepare for my upcoming trip to the United Nations. My anticipation grows daily, not only for the chance to celebrate International Women's Day on such a significant stage but also for the invaluable insights and connections this experience promises. It's a privilege to stand on the global platform for change, and I'm eager to bring back my newfound knowledge and inspiration to share with you all.
